Job summary

Faculty's Life Science team builds AI solutions to optimise research and commercialisation of therapies for pharma clients. This newly-created Senior Associate role scopes, builds and delivers end-to-end AI transformations, working with stakeholders to translate requirements into clear user stories.

You'll collaborate with data science, software engineering and delivery teams, maintain trusted client relationships, and contribute to internal thought leadership in a fast-paced, high-stakes

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical transformation projects in a consulting context.
• Experience in Life Sciences or with Life Sciences clients.
• Experience working with data science, ML or software engineering teams to scope and deploy solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• External client-facing experience with trusted relationships contributing to project success.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.

About the team:

Bringing medicine to patients is complex, expensive and high-risk. Faculty’s Life Science’s team is concentrated on building AI solutions which optimise the research and commercialisation of life-changing therapies.

We partner with major pharma firms, academic research centres, biotechs and MedTech companies to design and deliver solutions which address critical healthcare challenges.

About the role:

This is a newly-created role for an individual who wants to take the next step in their technology consulting career and wants hone their skills and knowledge of end-to-end AI transformation. As a Senior Associate, you’ll be part of a close-knit team - scoping, building and delivering impactful AI projects for our pharmaceutical clients. We’ll look to you to build trusted client relationships, analyse requirements and feedback, stay on top of workflows and help to ensure our bespoke AI solutions are optimised for real-world operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing individual work streams to support the successful delivery and implementation of bespoke AI solutions.

• Working side-by-side with life sciences stakeholders to understand critical mission challenges and user needs

• Conducting open-source analysis to support the development of cutting-edge AI tools

• Translating complex operational requirements into clear user stories for delivery and engineering teams.

• Designing and testing workflows that support user-centric decision-making in high-stakes environments

• Collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure projects run smoothly and solutions meet customer needs

• Contributing to internal thought leadership, strategy, and capability development across the team

Who we're looking for:

• You have prior consulting experience delivering technical transformation projects

• You've worked in a Life Sciences company, or with Life Sciences clients

• You've worked alongside technical experts in Data Science / Machine Learning / Software engineering to scope, design and deploy a solution

• You demonstrate analytical thinking, can clearly communicate ideas, and synthesise complex information

• You have external client-facing experience and have built trusted relationships which have contributed to the overall success of projects

• You understand Agile and related methodologies and the basis of iterative development and continuous delivery

• You are thoughtful and proactive in ambiguous situations, keen to take initiative and own finding solutions to challenges
