A healthcare organization is seeking a highly motivated Senior Assistant Technical Officer for their Cardio-Respiratory Department in Rotherham. Key responsibilities include performing ECGs, blood gas analysis, and assisting with Cardio-Respiratory services. Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience, relevant qualifications, and strong communication skills. The role offers a salary of £24,937 to £26,598 and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
We are looking for highly motivated, forward-thinking individual to become part of our committed team who work in the Cardio-Respiratory Department as a Senior Assistant Technical Officer.
You will be proficient in a range of investigations, performing ECG, Blood Gas analysis, Ambulatory Monitor Hook Up etc.
An Enhanced DBS with barred lists for both Adults & Children is required for this post.
The JD & PS are currently under AfC review and are subject to change.
To assist with the provision of Cardio-Respiratory services throughout the Trust and partnership agencies and to ensure the delivery of a high standard, quality service in an extended role to that of a basic Cardiographer.

The Cardio-Respiratory Department provides a high-quality service for all cardiac and respiratory diagnostic investigations. A 24/7 service is provided for basic investigations such as ECG and spirometry which is provided by Senior Cardiographers and Assistant Practitioners.

We also provide urgent care at our Urgent Treatment Centre located in St Helens town centre.
Specialist Regional Services
We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
