Job summary

The Travelers is seeking a Senior Assistant Pricing Actuary to be based in London, Redhill, or Dublin with hybrid working arrangements. The role focuses on exposure-based pricing models, analytics, and pricing data support within Travelers Europe.

You will work with underwriters and the pricing team to develop and implement pricing models, manage data analyses, and contribute to business planning and reinsurance considerations. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience in quantitative analysis.
• Associate Actuarial Credential.
• Programming skills in SQL and SAS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop pricing algorithms for Travelers Europe.
• Implement algorithms in the Hyperexponential (HX) production system.
• Liaise with underwriters to support use of pricing models.
• Run processes for batch rating portfolios of business in Python.
• Expand batch rater and pricing dataset for more products.
• Calibrate base rates and prepare data for rating validation.
