A consulting services firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant for a full-time, permanent position. This role involves managing key accounting functions including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and producing management accounts. The successful candidate should have at least two years of relevant experience, AAT qualification or equivalent, and strong IT and communication skills. Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a new client, a long established and highly respected services business, that seek to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. The role is offered as a full time, permanent contract to be based at the company headquarters in Newton Abbot.
Working closely alongside a highly experienced Finance Director, this will be a broad and interesting role where the successful candidate can work towards overall control of the operational finance lifecycle of a busy and prosperous business.
For this role we seek a motivated and career driven Assistant Accountant with at least two years of recently gained experience in a similar capacity. Candidates may be part/fully AAT/professionally qualified or suitably qualified through vocational experience. The company is keen to implement digital system improvements so good IT aptitude and excellent MS Excel skills essential. This is a highly visible role that works with an energetic team and liaises with colleagues throughout the business so excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
