Job summary

Tate in London/Salisbury area is recruiting two Senior Art Handling Technicians to support the delivery of Tate’s exciting programmes. You will lead a team responsible for collection management and care operations for artwork at Stores (Iver, Southwark and Wiltshire), including installation and de-installation, safe handling and packing for exhibitions, loans, digitization and storage.

The role reports to Lead Art Handling Technicians in the Collection Management department.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Art Handling Technicians and undertake collection management and care operations.
• Install/de-install and pack artworks for exhibitions, loans, digitization and storage.
• Provide technical solutions to installation problems and advise on risks and achievable schedules.
