Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Architect to join the UK-based architecture practice in Manchester. You will provide architectural services across all RIBA/RIAS stages for a diverse portfolio, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to produce detailed designs.

Applicants should have strong technical and detailing skills, experience with Revit, and an understanding of Building Regulations and British Standards. UK experience and security clearance would be beneficial for this role.

• Interest in Architecture and Built Environment; awareness of Building Regulations and British Standards.
• Experience of working with Revit essential.
• Experience in Aviation, Industrial, Power Defence or Transportation projects would be beneficial.
• Previous work experience within an Architectural Practice in the UK or similar environment is required.
• UK Security Clearance would be beneficial.

About the role

The architecture team is part of the Buildings unit within Mott MacDonald and provides services at all RIBA/ RIAS stages on a wide variety of projects. The main sectors are Aviation, Industrial, Power and Transportation. You will be part of a growing Architecture practice based in the UK. You will help us grow whilst developing your own career and cover all aspects of the project life cycle.

• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.

Candidate specification / Qualifications

• Good technical and detailing skills essential.
• Genuine interest in Architecture and the Built Environment; awareness of current technical building legislation and guidance such as Building Regulations and British Standards.
• Experience of working with Revit essential.
• Experience in Aviation, Industrial, Power Defence or Transportation projects would be beneficial.
• Previous work experience within an Architectural Practice in the UK or similar environment is required.
• UK Security Clearance would be beneficial.
