Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Oversee project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring design intent and technical accuracy are maintained
  • Mentor and support junior technicians and team members, fostering professional growth within the studio
  • Liaise effectively with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve complex technical and construction challenges
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and environmental standards
  • Contribute to the continued development of BIM workflows and best practice technical standards within the practice
Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience in an architectural practice, ideally in a senior or lead technician capacity
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (strong BIM experience advantageous)
  • In‑depth understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and materials
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively
  • Excellent problem‑solving, coordination, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and lead technical aspects of projects
