ACR have an exciting and very rare opening for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Technician to join a reputable Architectural Practice based in central Essex.

This role gives the opportunity to work under a highly reputable Technical Director with many years of industry experience, on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and coordinating a project team of both in-house staff and external consultants, focusing on RIBA Stages 4-6.
  • Forecasting and coordinating project resource and workflow.
  • Able to provide technical expertise across a variety of projects from inception to completion across all RIBA stages.
  • Preparing and coordinating technical design packages, building regulation submissions, tender and contract documentation.
  • Review and monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design, regulations, and contracts.
  • Source and specify materials, systems, and finishes appropriate to project needs.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of technical decisions and construction documentation.
  • Attend site meetings and inspections, contributing to clear and professional communication across all stakeholders.

You'll play a crucial role in bringing designs to life. Resolving challenges on site, managing technical outputs, and ensuring projects meet design intent, programme, and budget whilst under timescale pressures.
