Job summary

Billy Associates LTD in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is recruiting a Senior Architect to lead technical delivery across multi-disciplinary projects in a hybrid setting. You will supervise design teams, manage budgets up to £10m, secure approvals and drive business development while mentoring junior leaders.

The role requires ARB registration and RIBA Chartered status, strong AutoCAD/Revit skills, and hands-on BIM Level 2 experience. Salary £50k–£55k with bonuses and perks, and a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• ARB registered with post-qualification experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; BIM Level 2 experience
• Knowledge of construction processes, contract negotiation and management
• Track record leading complex schemes and mentoring others
• Confident in managing client relationships and business development
• Commercially aware; able to manage fees and resources

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery from inception to completion
• Manage budgets up to £10 million and support larger programmes
• Secure statutory approvals; handle contract administration and certification
• Prepare coordinated documentation meeting regulatory and client requirements
• Develop innovative solutions addressing material performance and buildability
• Champion BIM, Revit and CAD standards across the team
• Carry out post-completion reviews and client feedback
• Manage fees and resources; report on progress and profitability
• Support recruitment, training and appraisals; help build teams
• Build relationships with clients and assist in winning new business
