Senior Architect Overview

Our client, a highly respected Chartered Architectural Practice, is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their growing London studio. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable, and design‑led projects nationwide, this practice offers an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role within a collaborative and creative team.

The successful candidate will gain full involvement across all RIBA stages, contributing primarily to industrial and commercial new build developments, while also engaging with residential projects and university laboratory facilities. This is a hands‑on role, offering responsibility from concept through to completion, with the chance to work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and colleagues.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £42,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects across all RIBA stages, from feasibility and design development through to technical delivery and construction.
• Take ownership of industrial and commercial new build schemes, with additional exposure to residential and laboratory projects.
• Develop and present design concepts, technical drawings, and specifications using Revit.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring clear and proactive communication throughout each project.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Requirements

• ARB‑registered Architect with proven experience across all RIBA stages.
• Living in or around the London area.
• Strong track record in delivering industrial and commercial new build projects (Highly Beneficial).
• Experience in laboratories and residential work highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Revit; knowledge of MicroStation and Adobe Creative Suite beneficial.
• Excellent technical design and detailing skills, with the ability to oversee full construction documentation and specifications.
