Job summary

Konker in Bristol is seeking a Senior Architect to join one of the UK’s top architectural practices. You’ll work across projects from feasibility and concept through to technical design and construction, taking a lead role in design development, coordination and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong Education sector experience.
• Knowledge of DfE requirements and Building Regulations.
• Experience delivering projects through technical stages.
• Confidence working with clients and consultants and wider project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development from feasibility and concept through to technical design and construction.
• Coordinate disciplines and engage with clients throughout projects.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to growth of the Education team.

Job description

Konker is recruiting for a Senior Architect to join one of the UK’s Top 10 architectural practices, based in their award-winning Bristol studio.

The practice is going through a period of growth, with a strong pipeline of exciting Education projects across the UK.

You’ll work across projects from feasibility and concept through to technical design and construction, taking a key role in design development, coordination and client engagement.

• Strong Education sector experience
• Good knowledge of DfE requirements and Building Regulations
• Experience delivering projects through to technical stages
• Experience with CF21, CF25, PSBP, BSF or the School Rebuilding Programme would be a bonus
• Someone confident working with clients, consultants and wider project teams

There’s also a genuine opportunity to progress towards Associate level, alongside mentoring junior staff and contributing to the continued growth of the Education team.
