Job summary

FOLIO is hiring a senior technical architect to lead delivery on a large housing-led project in the UK. The role involves on-site co-ordination, managing RFIs and coordinating technical packages, reporting to a director, and guiding a team of architects and technicians.

You will work closely with contractors on site, with knowledge of UK planning rules and high-risk buildings. The firm offers flexible hybrid working and comprehensive benefits in a London/Midlands setting.

Qualifications

• Architect/equivalent operating at senior level with significant experience leading teams on large complex high quality UK residential projects at technical delivery
• Experience and familiarity with high risk buildings, UK planning laws, regulations and construction methods is essential
• Experience coordinating with contractors and supervising construction on site
• A focus on facades is highly beneficial

Position

This is a role for an experienced senior technical architect to take a leading role in the delivery, coordination and on site construction of a large mixed use / housing led project at Stage 5. You will be reporting to a director, overseeing a team of architects and technicians, managing RFIs/site queries, reviewing contractor and specialist information, coordinating of technical packages and attending at site meetings to deliver a project to the highest standard.
