A local authority in South West England is seeking a Senior Application Support Officer to manage the day-to-day running of their IT applications, predominantly in a remote working setup. The role requires extensive experience with LAS and ContrOCC applications and a proven track record in supporting system upgrades. We are working with a South West based local authority who are seeking a Senior Application Support Officer to join their team to support extra work that has come into the Social Care Application Support team from a large transformation programme running in our Adult Social Care Department at the same time as we are planning to do a large upgrade on LAS & ContrOCC.

Predominantly remote working, will need to attend the office on day 1
£350/day via umbrella, inside IR35

The Senior Application Support Officer will be part of the team and responsible for managing the day to day running of the Councils IT applications, this includes a helpdesk function; system upgrades; access, event and request fulfilment processes, and for ensuring all other associated tasks are carried out effectively and timely.
