Job description

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Applications Engineer to join a growing semiconductor company focusingon battery management systems for the automotive industry, based in Edinburgh.

This role is split 50 / 50 between travelling and lab work.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Applications Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;

• International travel to customer sites and support with technical customer issues
• PCB debug
• Work with IC, Quality, Product and Design teams to aid product development
• IC Validation + evaluation
• System level testing to support evaluation process

Qualifications

To be considered for the Senior Applications Engineer vacancy you must have :

• Have minimum 5 years industry experience
• Experience in a customer facing role
• Experience with IC evaluation / bench level validation
• An understanding / experience with RF / Battery Management Systems
• Experience using lab measurement equipment

Excellent social / communication skills are essential for this role.
