Job Title : Senior Application Developer (12 month FTC)

Location : Uxbridge, Hybrid (2 days on-site)

Salary : £60,000 – 65,000 + package

The Advocate Group is representing Monster Energy and leading the search for a Senior Developer to join the business at a critical time of growth and development, and play an integral part of designing and developing the next generation of digital platforms that will underpin the growth of the business for the long-term future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of web-based platforms as directed by the Director of Strategic Projects.
• Conduct regular maintenance, code / design updates and monitor performance to ensure platforms are operating as intended.
• Partner with strategic project managers to identify project / platforms required and suggest technical solutions.
• Maintain Azure services and continually improve stack where appropriate.
• Contribute to the technology road mapping process and identify areas where tech improvements can be made in order to support the company performance accelerators.
• Attend and proactive participate in meetings, workshops, training sessions and company events as required.
• Brief and collaborate with external agencies or contractors as required.
• Assist the Director of Strategic Projects with the implementation of a DevOps strategy and planning development backlog to ensure all platform development is meeting the required timelines / service levels.
• Attend and proactive participate in meetings, workshops, training sessions and company events as required.
• Support the wider team and function on delivering required workstreams where appropriate.

Your Profile

• Experienced developer that can transform ideas into immersive digital platforms.
• Creative thinker that can play an important role in the scoping and design phase alongside building comprehensive platform architectures.
• Expert understanding of hierarchy and layout principles.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to deliver under time deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and educate project managers on system architecture.
• Relentless desire for innovation balanced with addressing core business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in application development with focus on B2B / internal systems.
• Formal qualification in computer science or relevant code disciplines.
• Experienced in .Net Core C#, Javascript, React, Microsoft SQL and TailwindCSS.
• Azure certified along with experience of DevOps processes / infrastructure.
• Experienced in working with version control and cloud development environments with Azure DevOps.
