Job summary

Brunswick Group seeks a Lead Application Security Engineer to shape and mature its application security capability. You will provide senior security guidance across development, deployment, and technology change, enabling delivery teams to move fast while managing risk.

You will partner with ICT, AI Engineering, and business stakeholders to define standards, guardrails, and secure design patterns, while evolving the security function to scale with demand.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cyber security and application security
• Proven ability to lead security guidance across development lifecycles
• Strong understanding of threat modelling and risk-based assurance

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Brunswick's application security capability and guardrails
• Act as senior security advisor to ICT, AI Engineering, application owners, and stakeholders
• Review designs, APIs, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines for security risks
• Mature repeatable approaches for application security reviews and risk-based remediation
• Support secure development lifecycle practices including secrets management and deployment security
• Conduct threat modelling for AI-enabled workflows and integrations
