Job summary

Nexify Infosystems in Greater London seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead API design and architecture across value streams. You will analyze existing systems, define API contracts, and prepare design documents for stakeholder review.

You will model APIs using DDD, create scalable RESTful services, and collaborate with Platform teams to ensure secure, future-proof designs while guiding delivery and reducing risk.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Extensive enterprise architecture experience in .NET, API development, and microservices.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and ESB platforms.
• Experience designing APIs and microservices using DDD principles.
• IAM, cloud security, and data security regulations.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, cloud, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Azure expertise including Azure APIM.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze APIs and contract-based development.
• Create API product and API technical design docs for value streams.
• Deliver scalable RESTful APIs with well-defined contracts.
• Collaborate with Platform teams to ensure standards and constraints.
• Review end-to-end architectural designs for coherence and future-proofing.
• Provide consultancy to application teams and address queries.
• Support QA test case generation for APIs.
• Maintain API discovery documentation and collaboration tooling.
