Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in the United Kingdom is seeking a FAST Tech Sr (FAR) to independently perform aircraft modifications and maintenance on AOG aircraft during road trips and within the Product Support organisation.

The successful candidate will hold a CAA B1 or B1/B2 Engineers License with Gulfstream Type ratings and extensive experience in inspection and maintenance of large aircraft, with willingness to travel up to 25% and be on-call within two hours of contact.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship or equivalent completed in aviation sector.
Extensive combined experience in inspection, maintenance or servicing of large/mid-size aircraft (CAT 1).
EASA Part 66 B1, B2 or B1/2 License required.

Responsibilities

Must be available on an on-call basis, with the ability to be on site or dispatched within two hours of initial contact.
Performs AOG maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical and avionics systems.
Ensure compliance with MOE Part 1.4.6 and complete sign-offs, logbook entries and related paperwork.
Certify tasks that you have been trained on and authorised to perform, and inspect/certify at Luton base or other locations.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and provide briefings during road trips.
Coordinate with Line Service and FBO to schedule movement of aircraft and arrange repairs when needed.
Comply with Safety Management System and training requirements, including EPR goals and CBTs.
