Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics BI or Data Engineering (Senior/Lead).
• Strong SQL and Python, with ELT/ETL pipelines and data transformations.
• Experience designing end-to-end data pipelines with modern data stack tech.
• Strong data modelling for analytics-ready datasets.
• Experience partnering with commercial, product or operations teams, translating business needs into data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation and delivery of data to analytics and reporting layers.
• Own and improve existing pipelines for reliability, performance and scalability.
• Set up pipelines for internal and external data sources using appropriate tools and patterns.
• Monitor data quality and pipeline health to ensure data trust and uptime.
• Implement analytics engineering best practices: testing, documentation, version control and observability.
• Improve data architecture, modelling and workflows to support growing data volumes.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate questions into analytics solutions.
• Prioritise the analytics engineering backlog balancing technical improvements with business value.
• Define data scope for new initiatives with feasibility, effort and value assessments.
