As the Senior Analytics, Automation & AI Expert, you will be a strategic and technical leader, responsible for driving our data, automation, and AI initiatives to support STADA UK's digital transformation. Sitting on the UK IT Senior Leadership Team, you will shape how we harness data and AI to enhance decision‑making, business performance, and customer experience. This role offers a unique combination of strategic influence and hands‑on delivery, providing both leadership and technical depth. The role will involve regular travel to our UK sites in Huddersfield, Reading, and Preston, as well as occasional international travel to support global initiatives.

As Senior Analytics, Automation & AI Expert you will have the opportunity to influence key business decisions and drive Data & AI innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the UK strategy for Analytics, Automation & AI in line with business priorities.
- Represent data and AI on the UK IT Leadership Team and influence strategic business decisions; act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders on analytical & AI requirements.
- Champion adoption of self‑service analytics and promote data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
- Oversee all analytical activities within assigned domains and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Design and deliver dashboards, process automation, and AI‑powered solutions that improve business efficiency and insight.
- Provide expertise with Microsoft solutions and mentor team members.
- Design, develop, and implement data models and data products with a focus on state‑of‑the‑art architecture design.
- Ensure the quality and performance of data & analytics solutions by utilising your expertise and testing, validating, and approving developments done by other team members (internals and externals). Act as a technical lead or project manager, overseeing the implementation of data & analytics solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Support IT Helpdesk to manage Automation, Data & Analytics related incidents and requests, ensuring all calls are dealt with within the agreed SLA.
- Ensure a high quality of customer care for all colleagues, customers & suppliers, both remotely & face to face.
- Manage personal workload effectively through strong time management and prioritisation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4 years' experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Azure, Databricks).
- Hands‑on expertise with the Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
- Solid understanding of automation technologies and their practical implementation at scale.
- Strong command of data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) and SQL‑based analysis.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, balancing speed with quality.
- Microsoft certifications (optional): Power Platform Functional Consultant, Azure Enterprise Data Analyst, Power BI Data Analyst.
