Job summary

Macquarie's Fixed Income and Currencies team in London is seeking a candidate to support origination, structuring and execution of corporate debt financing for infrastructure sponsors globally. You will build financial models, perform credit analysis and valuations, and contribute to due diligence and client materials with the Macquarie Capital and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years' + experience in private credit, infrastructure finance, or leveraged finance.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and credit analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of debt structuring and capital markets, ideally with exposure to infrastructure or real assets.
• Strong academic background; progress toward or completion of a professional qualification preferred.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated interest in infrastructure markets and private credit investing.
• English proficiency, with proficiency in additional European languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the origination, structuring, and execution of corporate debt financing solutions for infrastructure sponsors globally.
• Build and maintain financial models, credit analysis, and valuations; contribute to due diligence across financial, commercial, and risk aspects.
• Prepare committee materials and client presentations; monitor portfolio performance and support stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Macquarie Capital and wider infrastructure teams to drive transaction flow and cross-selling opportunities.
