Job summary

Angi is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to drive financial performance for its international business. You will build models, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to influence strategic decisions.

You will partner with leaders across operations, marketing, product, and technology to ensure alignment with corporate goals while developing KPIs and robust financial plans for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A experience, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex models from scratch.
• Experience with PBCS or Essbase; SQL/Looker are nice-to-have.
• Autonomous self-starter capable of navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

About the role:

Angi is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving financial performance and supporting strategic initiatives of Angi’s international business. The Senior Analyst, FP&A will work closely with business leaders to analyze financial data, build models, and provide actionable insights that help steer key decisions at Angi. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

What you’ll do:

• P&L Management: Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the international business, including seven countries across Europe and Canada.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide financial analysis and insights across various business units, including detailed reports on trends, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and execution of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring they align with corporate goals and strategic priorities, and track actual performance against projections
• Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, and provide recommendations to senior management based on findings.
• Strategic Planning Support: Assist in long-term strategic planning by developing financial models, conducting scenario analysis, and forecasting the impact of new initiatives or changes in the business environment.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate business opportunities, capital investments, and expansion plans by analyzing potential ROI, profitability, and risk factors.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with business leaders in operations, marketing, product, and technology to provide financial support and ensure alignment of financial performance with overall business goals.
• KPI Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and drive financial and operational performance. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Who you are:

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in FP&A, ideally combined with investment banking, private equity, consulting, or experience with analytics.
• You are proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling and problem-solving; you are comfortable building complex financial models from scratch.
• You have the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections.
• Stewardship mindset: You treat company resources as if they were your own, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize spending, maximize ROI, and build sustainable, long-term financial health
• You are an autonomous self-starter, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.
• You are a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with senior leadership
• Advanced Excel skills and aptitude
• As a strongly-desired plus, you have experience with PBCS or Essbase, while SQL, and/or Looker are additional nice-to-haves
