A day in the life of a Murphy Senior Analyst

• Tariff Development & Analysis: Analyse and develop energy tariffs in line with market trends, regulatory frameworks, and company objectives.
• Ensure that tariffs are optimised for cost-effectiveness and meet both business and customer needs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all tariffs are compliant with industry regulations, including government policies and Ofgem guidelines.
• Stay up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and adjust tariff structures accordingly.
• Reporting & Data Management: Regularly produce reports on tariff performance, including cost analysis, profitability, and customer impact.
• Work closely with other departments to share findings and ensure data accuracy.
• Market Research: Monitor market tariffs and emerging industry trends, identifying opportunities for competitive advantage and proposing adjustments to tariffs or pricing strategies.
• Project Involvement: Support the implementation of new tariffs or changes to existing tariffs, including managing timelines, coordinating with relevant teams, and ensuring smooth execution.
