Job summary

Baillie Gifford is seeking a Senior Analyst for Accounting Products - Technical to provide deep functional analysis and technical support for Optima, Icon and NavQuest. You will work with Operations and IS to deliver robust business solutions, collaborate with vendors, and tailor reports with Report Writer while maintaining system stability.

You will also train end users, document enhancements, and stay current with production environments, ensuring high-quality support and ongoing process

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Optima, Icon and NavQuest application functionality.
• Experience with Icon Report Writer development.
• Experience with PL/SQL, VBA and Excel Macros.
• Proven problem solving with independent work and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide application in-depth analysis & solution delivery on a continuous basis.
• Work with Operational areas and IS to analyse options for delivering solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors to shape applications to meet business needs.
• Use Report Writer to tailor applications for operational requirements.
• Maintain application servers in Production and Development.
• Deliver high quality documentation for projects and changes.
• Provide bespoke application training to end users.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of systems and production environments.
