BlueCurrent in London is seeking a Senior Analyst to underwrite and execute pan-European real estate investments and developments, including financial modelling, due diligence and investment committee materials. You will support opportunities from screening through execution, with strong commercial judgement and attention to ESG and data quality.
Proficiency with AI tools for research and document review is encouraged.
BlueCurrent is a real estate developer, investor and manager of EV Charging Depots and EV Charging Hubs across the UK and Europe. These purpose-built facilities are revolutionising logistics by offering power, security and storage for electric commercial fleets at scale.
BlueCurrent is majority owned by real estate funds managed by Blackstone. Arrow Global Group, PensionDanmark and Hesta also sponsor the business.
With 5 ongoing developments located in Amsterdam, London and Munich, the portfolio is expected to grow in the next few years to 20+ assets across Germany, the Netherlands, and other European countries.
We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Analyst to join our Team. The role will focus on underwriting and executing pan-European real estate investments and developments, including financial modelling, deal research and investment committee materials. The Senior Analyst will support opportunities from initial screening through due diligence, approval and execution, and provide analysis across the existing portfolio.
The successful candidate will be a proficient real estate modeller, able to prepare clear, high-quality investment committee memoranda and presentations with appropriate senior review. The role requires commercial judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across European markets.
The role also requires an understanding of ESG and sustainability matters, together with the practical use of AI to support, but not replace, professional judgement in underwriting, research and investment committee preparation.
Work as part of the Team, taking ownership of high-quality analysis and clearly communicating conclusions, risks and recommendations.
Collaborate with internal colleagues and external parties, including agents, consultants, advisers, lenders, sponsors, energy and construction professionals and logistics occupiers.
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business or another relevant quantitative discipline. CFA, ACA or a relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
Typically three or more years’ relevant experience in real estate private equity, investment, investment banking, transaction advisory or a related field, with demonstrable transaction underwriting experience.
BlueCurrent offers a competitive remuneration and benefits package designed to attract and retain high-performing colleagues.
The role is based at BlueCurrent’s London head office. We work predominantly from the office, supporting close collaboration across the team, with flexibility to work from home one day per week in line with company policy.
