Job summary

Intellectual Capital Resources Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join our expanding IC design team. The role covers a wide range of projects across industries and requires immediate contribution.

You will lead transistor-level design, perform feasibility studies, develop specifications, and handle pre- and post-layout verification, with future leadership opportunities on the horizon. On-site two days a week with optional home working three days.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in analog IC design.
• Proficiency with Cadence toolset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the full project lifecycle from feasibility to device bring-up.
• Carry out transistor-level design, pre- and post-layout verification.
• Collaborate across projects and potentially take on future leadership.

A new opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join the Bristol branch of a global Engineering company that is expanding its IC Design capabilities in Europe.

2 days onsite is required, with the option to work from home 3 days a week.

We’re looking for a skilled Analog IC Designer capable of immediately contributing to a wide range of projects across multiple industries. Responsibilities span the full project lifecycle—from feasibility assessments and specification development to transistor-level design, pre- and post-layout verification, and ultimately device bring-up. Future leadership responsibility is also very much a possibility.

A Senior Analog IC Design Engineer you will bring:

• A University degree (BSc / MSc) in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive industrial experience within Analog IC Design
• Expertise using Cadence tools
• The right mindset and capability to work on small blocks, as well as more complicated blocks like ADCs
• Eligibility to work in the UK
