Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts in Nottingham seeks a Senior Trust Grade in Anaesthesia for a 12-month fixed-term post to cover Resident gaps. The role includes 24-hour anaesthetic service delivery and on-call duties across two campuses, with opportunities to participate in EPOC, obstetric and critical care rotations.

The post requires GMC registration with a licence to practise, at least five years of UK anaesthetic experience, and FRCA or an accepted equivalent.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• At least 5 years of anaesthetic experience.
• Significant and recent UK anaesthetic department experience.
• Royal College of Anaesthetists Final FRCA examination or accepted equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a high quality 24-hour anaesthetic service, including participation in out-of-hours rotas and covering EPOC, Obstetrics and Critical Care as required.
• Work flexibly when required and according to service demand.
• Provide rotational cover and maintain a high standard of patient care in both campuses.
• Participate in teaching, audits and professional development as part of a busy department.
