Job summary

A prominent NHS Trust in Greater London seeks an Advanced Rehabilitation Assistant for its Amputee Rehabilitation Unit. Qualifications

  • Experience of assessing patients requiring walking aids and instructing their usage.
  • Established experience in a therapy unit/department.
  • Experience working with amputees and other complex conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist ARU therapists in assessing patients and following care plans.
  • Work with occupational and physiotherapists to encourage patient function.
  • Conduct non-clinical tasks such as equipment maintenance and audits.

Education

Health & Social Care NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
