Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking an experienced engineer for a field-based role in Spalding to service and maintain heavy commercial refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, at least 5 years of experience with Ammonia, and relevant certifications.

You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, support the Service Manager in resolving technical issues, and promote safety and quality standards in all processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Ammonia.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support the Service Manager with technical issues.

Skills

Strong planning and organisational skills

Ability to work to tight deadlines

Strong mechanical knowledge

Competent in basic electrical work

IPAF certification
