Job summary

Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) is seeking an experienced AIT/EVT Engineer to oversee the end‑to‑end assembly, integration, test activities for spacecraft and payloads. You will work with the core project team to progress the spacecraft through in‑house and external test phases.

You will manage test teams, ensure compliance with engineering policies, and coordinate schedules for ground test campaigns, LEOP activities, and inspections, including travel to customer facilities as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in engineering or science.
• EU based personal Security clearance held in last 5 years or eligible.
• Citizen of an EU or Schengen member state.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of fully tested payload and spacecraft.
• Manage test operators and responsible engineers per schedules and requirements.
• Prepare and present documentation at design, test and project reviews for internal and external audiences.
• Support bids and proposals.
