Job summary

Lucion Services is seeking an experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our Environmental Consultancy team and lead technically challenging work across infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial projects.

You will mentor junior consultants, manage multiple projects and help grow our air quality service within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Extensive consultancy experience in air quality.
• Strong knowledge of UK air quality legislation & IAQM guidance.
• Experience with ADMS and ADMS-Roads.
• Excellent report writing and project management.
• IAQM membership or professional institution

Responsibilities

• Lead air quality assessments for planning and permitting.
• Prepare technical reports on air quality, dust and odour.
• Conduct dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads.
• Design and manage air quality monitoring programmes.
• Manage multiple projects on time and budget.
• Build client relationships and support proposals.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our growing Environmental Consultancy team and help shape the air quality solutions behind some of the UK’s most interesting infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial projects.

You’ll get the chance to lead technically challenging work, build trusted client relationships, mentor the next generation of consultants and help grow our Air Quality service.

All while working with people who take their work seriously — but don’t believe consultancy has to feel like a breath of stale office air.

What will you actually do?

You’ll take the lead on a varied portfolio of projects, providing high-quality technical advice from assessment through to delivery.

Your days could include:

• Leading air quality assessments for planning and environmental permitting projects
• Preparing technical reports covering air quality, dust and odour
• Undertaking and reviewing dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
• Designing and managing air quality monitoring programmes and analysing data
• Managing multiple projects, keeping them on time, on budget and technically excellent
• Building strong client relationships and supporting proposals and tenders
• Mentoring junior consultants and helping them develop their technical skills
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver joined-up environmental solutions

Desirable extras: knowledge of Occupational Air Quality, Lighting or Greenhouse Gas assessments.

You’ll bring solid consultancy experience, technical confidence and a genuine interest in delivering work that makes a difference.

You’ll need:

• A degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering or a related discipline
• Extensive consultancy experience in air quality
• Strong knowledge of UK air quality legislation, planning policy and IAQM guidance
• Experience using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
• Excellent report writing, communication and project management skills
• Membership of IAQM and/or a relevant professional institution
• Chartered status or progress towards it is desirable
• A proactive approach and a passion for high-quality environmental consultancy
