Job summary

A leading industrial software company in Cambridge seeks an Experienced Software Engineer to join the Core AI Services team. You will design, develop, and scale AI-enabling platform services, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and cloud-native. This role entails working with various teams to create AI solutions and mentor junior developers. The ideal candidate has extensive software engineering experience, particularly in cloud-native development and RESTful API design. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software engineering, preferably in platform or cloud-native service development.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, versioning, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Proficient in securing APIs, managing authentication/authorization, and data privacy practices.
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying scalable cloud-native services using PaaS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Create AI solutions including AI model deployment and training.
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop secure public APIs and SDKs for internal and external consumption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to innovation.
