University of East Anglia is seeking a Senior Research Associate in the School of Computing Sciences to develop cutting-edge AI methods for real-time prediction of bathing-water quality. The role involves interdisciplinary research with partners across universities and health/environment sectors.

The post entails developing and evaluating novel AI models, contributing methodological innovations, publishing findings and supporting grant applications, supervision and teaching within the School.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in Computer Science, AI, ML or Data Science.
• Experience of independent research and developing machine-learning methods.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and evaluate novel AI models for real-time water quality prediction.
• Contribute ideas and methodological innovations in spatio-temporal modelling.
