Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking an AI Platform Engineer for senior/lead engagements in the UK, shaping AI infrastructure across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. You will design, build, and operate the platform beneath LLMs, agents, and MLOps pipelines, enabling scalable, secure AI delivery for client projects.

You will work with clients and cross‑functional teams, drive architecture reviews, and mentor colleagues while advancing your own skills in a dynamic Capgemini environment.

Qualifications

• Active SC (Security Check) clearance or eligible and willing to gain.
• Deep hands-on experience in AI/GenAI platform engineering.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews, workshops, and executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Be a senior or lead engineer on client AI platform engagements.
• Architect and deploy AI-ready infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Build and operate core AI platform components: model serving and gateway infrastructure, agent orchestration and tool-calling frameworks.
• Implement MLOps and LLMOps pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Establish observability, security, and governance frameworks for AI systems.
