Treefera is seeking a talented ML/AI engineer to own forecasting models and data pipelines for environmental and risk signals. You will work with weather and satellite data to deliver actionable insights for clients, turning research into production-grade pipelines.

You will shape how the AI team models, improve evaluation, and communicate uncertainty clearly to both technical and commercial colleagues, while working in a cross-functional team.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in the Python scientific stack and reproducible research practices.
• Built deep learning and statistical models for time series or spatial data with real projects.
• Ability to explain and defend code decisions and results.

Aufgaben

• Build and ship forecasting models for environmental and risk signals.
• Extend the weather platform by adding forecast products and capabilities.
• Work with satellite data to build vegetation stress signals and land-surface info.
• Take research from prototype to production with robust infrastructure and repeatable deliveries.
• Shape AI team modelling approaches, evaluation protocols and uncertainty treatment.
