Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior AI/ML Consultant to lead enterprise AI/ML engagements, shaping technical strategy and acting as a trusted advisor on AI transformations. You will guide end-to-end delivery and drive innovations across delivery teams.

You will work from AWS offices in the UK and collaborate with customers to translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes, leveraging Bedrock and SageMaker and mentoring junior consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience in consulting and designing/implementing serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with object-oriented languages.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent).
• Experience in external or internal customer-facing, large-scale project management.
• Experience building complex, scalable systems with predictive models or ML applications.
• Experience in data and ML engineering and cloud-native technologies.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI/ML engagements from planning to deployment and optimisation.
• Architect and implement AI/ML solutions using AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.
• Translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes and roadmaps.
• Drive innovation and reusable AI delivery methodologies across the practice.
• Influence customer AI strategy through technical expertise and insights.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across stakeholders to deliver high-impact AI solutions.
• Provide thought leadership in internal and external engagements.
• Support pre-sales activities with technical scope and risk reviews.
