Job summary

Linklaters, a leading global law firm, seeks an AI & Matter Pricing Senior Advisor to lead the pricing approach for complex matters involving technology and AI-assisted delivery. You will advise partners on innovative pricing strategies, financial modelling and alternative fee arrangements, while embedding advanced pricing capabilities across Finance and the business.

• Three+ years in a pricing role, ideally in legal or professional services.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ownership of key areas.
• Strong commercial awareness and client focus for high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure.
• Collaborative, flexible team player across global teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with legal, Legal Tech, Finance, and PM teams to develop commercial proposals for complex matters.
• Develop bespoke financial models and pricing scenarios; support negotiations and alternative fee arrangements.
• Maintain standardised pricing models and tools for complex matter scenarios to improve efficiency.
• Project manage financial aspects of proposals, coordinating milestones with governance requirements.
• Guide fee proposals through internal approvals with commercial challenge and governance improvements.
• Advise Partners on pricing strategy and terms; engage with clients when needed for sustainable outcomes.
• Ensure pricing and fee arrangements are documented in firm systems and implemented.
• Lead the ongoing development of pricing capability through analysis, training, and AI use cases.
