Job summary

Kharon in London is seeking a Senior AI Engineer, Agentic Systems, to build and deploy autonomous agents that interpret, prioritize, and act on geopolitical and financial signals.

You will connect agents to information sources, design agentic workflows, and evaluate systems for accuracy and business relevance. Open collaboration with Research, Product, and Engineering is essential in this hybrid London-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in AI engineering, data science, software engineering, data engineering, or a closely related role.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents that interpret, prioritize, and act on information related to geopolitical and financial signals.
• Develop and continuously improve tools that connect agents to information sources (web access, retrieval, APIs, knowledge graphs).
• Design, implement, and evaluate agentic workflows and multi-agent systems balancing exploration/exploitation, accuracy/latency, and autonomy.
• Define evaluation frameworks and metrics for retrieval quality, agent performance, and business relevance.
• Collaborate with Research, Product, and Engineering to prototype, test, and refine capabilities; take solutions to production including API development and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Kubernetes on AWS (RDS, EKS, S3).
• Own full lifecycle of systems from architecture to deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and iteration.
