Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer or Lead DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership across AI-enabled software and DevOps teams. You will set architectural direction for API-first design, modernising legacy apps into service-based architectures and guiding integration patterns between applications, platforms and AI services.

Qualifications

Senior or Lead Software Engineer or similar hands-on technical leadership role.
Strong fundamentals in system design, clean code, testing and maintainability.
Experience designing delivering API-driven and microservice-based systems.
Proven ability to modernise or integrate legacy applications into modern architectures.
Development experience in TypeScript and Python.
Experience across software delivery, infrastructure, CI/CD, and operations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across AI-enabled software and DevOps teams.
Set architectural direction for API-first design and platform enablement for AI.
Evolve legacy applications toward service-based, API-driven architectures.
Define and guide integration patterns between applications, platforms, and AI services.
Balance innovation with pragmatism in production environments.
Collaborate with architects, product teams, data scientists and platform engineers.
Ensure security, resilience, performance, and operability standards.
Anticipate and manage architectural and operational risks in AI-enabled systems.
Champion strong engineering practices across software, DevOps and platform engineering.
