We're hiring for two exciting roles in DWP's Health and Disability team. Our mission is to design simple, responsive digital services that help people with health conditions or disabilities access the support they need quickly and clearly.
As part of the Health Transformation Programme, we're building new digital services to improve Health Assessments and the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) journey. These services will be more efficient, easier to use, and focused on user needs.
You’ll work on products that impact millions of lives, collaborating across policy, strategy, and delivery teams to shape the future of health and disability support. If you’re driven by purpose and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll lead using Agile frameworks, remove any barriers and utilise key metrics and insights to help us make good decisions and delivery better outcomes.
Our Agile Delivery Managers enable high-performing digital teams to create, build, innovate and deliver. We create psychologically safe spaces where digital experts can be at their best.
It’s a complex landscape and you’ll need your skills as a persuasive and engaging communicator, and your experience of delivering and solving cross-cutting problems to get the job done.
You’ll make sure they have what they need to deliver the best services. You’ll identify blockers, and find the best way round through, and over.
You will get the best out of experts in software engineering, process design, user research and user experience design, as well as policy development.
Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. We lead a cross-government community which meets once a month to share ideas and discuss emerging trends.

Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay up to £75,748.
Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi‑time. You’ll also get all the usual public holidays.
