Job summary

ThePlaceToBe is seeking a Senior Affiliate Marketing Account Manager to join a growing Paid Media team in Leeds. You will activate and strategically plan Affiliate Marketing campaigns for key clients, ensuring campaigns are set up for success.

You’ll build profitable strategies, explore opportunities beyond traditional networks, and lead client meetings with a clear view of performance. A strong understanding of networks like Awin, Rakuten and CJ is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Affiliate Marketing role.
• Strong understanding of the affiliate landscape and networks (Awin, Rakuten, CJ).
• Strong reporting skills and experience with data.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimise client affiliate campaigns.
• Develop profitable affiliate strategies for clients.
• Identify opportunities beyond traditional affiliations (brand-to-brand, influencer, tech).
• Contribute ideas to improve agency operations and meetings.
• Explain performance clearly in client discussions and reviews.
• Perform regular compliance checks and address issues.
• Lead and delegate tasks to a team of executives and managers.

About the role...

As an Senior Affiliate Marketing Account Manager, you’ll join a growing Paid Media department and assist with the activation and strategic planning of Affiliate Marketing campaigns for a selection of the agency’s key clients

What you’ll be doing day to day...

• Ensure that client affiliate marketing campaigns are set up for success
• Building a profitable affiliate marketing strategy for clients
• Identify opportunities for your clients further than traditional affiliate partnerships, eg brand-to-brand, influencer and tech.
• Actively contributing to team meetings, bringing forth innovative ideas to enhance agency operations
• Effectively contributing to client meetings and calls, with a primary focus on clearly explaining account performance.
• Completing regular compliance checks for your accounts and implement POA to combat when issues arise.
• Manage a selection of executives and managers, getting involved in task delegation

What we're looking for...

• Previous experience within a Affiliate Marketing role
• Showcase strong understanding of the affiliate landscape and knowledge of affiliate networks including Awin, Rakuten and CJ Affiliate
• Strong reporting skills and experience working with data.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Be confident enough to speak to clients regularly and take lead upon meetings
• Agency or Network experience is desirable
• You must be able to commute to Leeds, 3 days a week
