Job summary

Matalan is seeking an experienced Affiliate Marketing Lead to own the affiliate channel strategy in the UK. You will manage partner relationships, execute campaigns, and optimise activities to drive traffic, conversion and ROI.

Collaborate with trading teams to align promotions and calendars and explore new partnerships to accelerate growth. The role requires 3+ years in affiliate marketing, familiarity with networks like Partnerize, and strong analytical, organisational, and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in affiliate marketing or a related performance channel.
• Experience with affiliate networks (Ideally Partnerize or similar).
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data.
• Good understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing channels.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.

• Manage day-to-day affiliate partner relationships, ensuring strong collaboration and consistent performance.
• Accountable for the management & efficiencies of spend in the Affiliate channels.
• Execute affiliate campaigns, including partner placements, promotional activity, and optimisation of live activity.
• Monitor performance against key metrics, identifying opportunities to improve traffic quality, conversion, and ROI.
• Work closely with internal teams to align affiliate activity with trade plans, promotional calendars, and key moments.
• Identifying and onboarding new affiliate partners and opportunities to drive incremental growth.
• Lead the testing and implementation of new innovations, tools, and partnership models within the affiliate channel.
• Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and attribution of affiliate activity.
• Provide regular performance updates and insights, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to support continuous improvement.
