Job summary

Seismic Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer for an aerospace precision components company near Bristol. You will be a member of the senior leadership team and oversee the Quality Team, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer quality requirements.

You will develop inspection and control plans, FAIRs and support APQP/PPAP, review drawings for manufacturability, lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions, while monitoring KPIs and maintaining traceability of

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing QA.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
• Experience with NADCAP, APQP and PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS and lead a team of Quality Engineers.
• Develop inspection and control plans and FAIRs.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Review drawings for manufacturability and quality risks.
• Monitor KPIs such as scrap, rework and yield.
