The Senior Advisor, Payroll Administration at Carnival UK offers a unique blend of learning, growth, and hands‑on experience in the heart of our People department. It's your chance to start building a solid foundation in this field, contributing to our goals across the organisation.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Operations and Payroll, you’ll help make sure colleagues across the business are paid correctly and on time. This role suits someone who enjoys data, numbers and systems. It’s a hands‑on payroll and HR systems role where accuracy, analysis and structured thinking make a real difference to colleagues every pay day.

Key accountabilities for Senior Advisor, Payroll Administration include:

  • Using Excel to apply payroll rules and calculations accurately, covering variable pay, sickness absence, family‑friendly payments and employee benefits
  • Processing payroll inputs, benefits and deductions across the employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, pensions and HMRC‑related activity
  • Maintaining the organisational structure within Oracle, so that people data and reporting lines stay accurate and joined up
  • Carrying out quality assurance checks on payroll and HR transactions to spot and resolve discrepancies before they affect colleagues

This role is classified as CUK11 and is available on a full‑time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
