Job summary
Vax, part of the Global Floorcare division, is seeking an Advanced Electronics Engineering Manager in Droitwich Spa. You will lead the Advanced Electrical Engineering team, define future architectures, drive rapid proof-of-concept work and de-risk technologies for next‑generation consumer products.
Working with Advanced Development, Industrial Design and Product Management, you will build technical capability, mentor engineers and transform ideas into robust concepts ready for NPD, deliveries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
- 8+ years of electronics development experience for consumer or electromechanical products with technical leadership.
- Experience in product development, innovation and concept development.
- Strong knowledge of Embedded Systems, Firmware, Sensors, Motor Control and Electronics.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Advanced Electrical Engineering team, building technical capabilities and engineering excellence.
- Define future electrical architectures, sensing technologies and advanced control strategies.
- Drive rapid proof of concepting to de risk technologies and demonstrate early technical feasibility.
- Lead the integration of electronics, firmware and mechatronic systems into future product concepts alongside Advanced Development, ID and Engineering.
