Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst to help shape AI-powered analytics across savings, pricing, product and platform teams. You will work with large datasets, modern cloud tools and Generative BI to turn data into actionable insights that drive customer value.

This hybrid role offers exposure to Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Looker and Power BI, with a clear path to influence pricing decisions and strategic outcomes while advancing responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience delivering analytics, business intelligence or data science solutions in a commercial environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data platforms, particularly GCP and BigQuery.
• Experience using data to solve business problems, identify opportunities and influence decision making.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear and engaging insight.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions or self-service analytics capabilities.
• A curious mindset and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, analytics and AI.
• Experience working with Generative BI, conversational analytics or AI-enabled insight solutions, helping make data more accessible and decision-making more intuitive.
• Experience developing dashboards, semantic models and self-service analytics capabilities using tools such as Looker, LookML and Power BI
• Knowledge of Python and advanced analytical techniques
• An understanding of data governance, responsible AI principles and analytical best practice

As a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst, you'll join our Commercial Analytics team at an exciting stage of that journey.

Working with modern cloud technologies, Generative BI capabilities and advanced analytics tools, you'll help turn complex data into clear, commercially meaningful insights that improve customer outcomes and drive business performance.

You'll work alongside colleagues across Savings, Pricing, Product, Platform and Analytics teams, using large-scale datasets and advanced analytical techniques to solve real business challenges.

From understanding customer behaviour and identifying commercial opportunities to shaping pricing decisions and supporting strategic outcomes, your work will have genuine impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with technologies including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Looker, Power BI and emerging conversational analytics capabilities.
