This role involves coordinating various tasks, managing communications, and supporting health & safety initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a senior administrative position and excellent organizational skills. This fixed-term role lasts for 12 months and offers a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing professional administrative support to the Plant Manager and senior team.
  • Coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and managing communications across the site.
  • Managing site facilities, contractors, and supplier relationships.
  • Supporting health & safety initiatives, including inductions, permit tracking, and reporting.
  • Leading internal communications and acting as the site’s communication champion.
  • Organising employee events, competitions, and recognition schemes.
  • Handling onboarding logistics and supporting HR processes.
  • Maintaining systems for uniforms, PPE, car-park permits, and visitor management.
  • Creating purchase orders and managing hospitality arrangements.
