Job description

Monton Green Primary School is seeking to employ a Senior Administrative Officer.

An organised and experienced person is required to assist with the smooth running of the school office; to provide finance, administrative and data support to the Head teacher and School Business Manager; and to support parents, pupils, visitors and outside agencies.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • Have experience of undertaking a range of administrative tasks and technical duties including data input and retrieval
  • Be able to communicate with a range of audiences including parents, colleagues and governors
  • Build and be able to maintain good working relationships
  • Have a sound knowledge of and an ability to use a range of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Be able to maintain effective record keeping systems
  • Be able to work accurately under pressure
  • Show initiative and pro‑activity
  • Show sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential matters
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities

Previous experience of working in a school setting is desirable.
