Salary: £31,612 per year; rising to £32,444 after 12 months and £33,276 after two years

We are looking for a proactive Senior Administration Officer to join our supportive Waste & Street Scene team. This is a varied role in which you will help to keep important frontline services running effectively, provide high-quality support to colleagues and contribute to improvements that benefit our customers.
You will oversee key administrative, financial and performance systems, including processing purchase orders and invoices, preparing service performance updates and supporting the budget-setting process. You will also lead the administration of the Council’s garden waste subscription service and help ensure that team systems, databases and web pages are accurate and up to date.
Working closely with the Waste and Street Scene Team Leader, contractors and internal teams, you will monitor performance, investigate service enquiries and complaints, and help identify opportunities to improve systems and services. You will also provide support and training to the Administration Assistant.
