Job summary

Skylight Psychiatry is seeking a Senior ADHD Prescriber (Independent Prescriber) to join our clinical team. This role combines clinical prescribing activity with governance responsibilities in a flexible, primarily remote setting with occasional attendance in Basingstoke.

The Senior ADHD Prescriber will support safe medication management, contribute to prescribing governance, and collaborate with the Clinical Director and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care across

Qualifications

Qualified Independent Prescriber.
Experience prescribing ADHD medications.
Strong knowledge of NICE ADHD guidance and prescribing standards.
Confident in making prescribing decisions while assessing clinical risk.
Comfortable supporting colleagues with prescribing queries.
Works well within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Experience conducting ADHD diagnostic assessments or working in neurodevelopmental services is desirable.

Responsibilities

Conducting 3 ADHD diagnostic assessments per week.
Initiating ADHD medication where clinically indicated.
Undertaking medication follow-up reviews during titration.
Managing an active prescribing caseload.
Serving as senior reference for ADHD prescribing queries across the service.
Contributing to prescribing governance activities including SOP development, supervision and audits.
Occasional attendance at the Basingstoke office for meetings or service development.
